Making the most of it

Tussey 50 miles was not the expected race: after 25 miles, my foot started to hurt badly. So, since it was no longer realistic to continue pace I had until then, it was time to change the strategy, embrace the injury and enjoy the scenery.

So not a PR but a lot of fun and nice people around. The best time of the day was a volunteer at an aid station telling me: “You are a very funny person, please stay like this”. And even more crazy, she probably meant it.

A more detailed race report will come but right now, the appropriate thing to do is to stay in bed, watch Netflix and get plenty of sleep.
